Summer Trainees

Outotec is headquartered in Espoo, Finland where our business units: Minerals Processing, Metals, Energy & Water and Services are represented. In our Espoo office, you can also find the corporate management and support functions. Outotec also has locations in Lappeenranta, Pori and Outokumpu, and we are looking for Summer Trainees for all our locations.

As Summer Trainee, you will:

• Have the opportunity to work with the best experts and the latest technology of the field. Many of our technologies have been awarded for their innovativeness and are helping our customers improve their productivity and environmental performance.
• Work in one of our several fields of technology, such as process metallurgy, services, automation, water treatment and other design related tasks.
• Work in 5^th most sustainable company in the world (Global 100 index)

To succeed, you will need:

• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn more. We are looking for proactive individuals with a can-do approach. You enjoy challenges and like working as part of a team but also independently.
• Good communication skills in English and in Finnish are required for most of the tasks. However, we have some positions where knowing Finnish in not a requirement.
• A relevant study background; we are mainly looking for higher degree students of relevant fields of studies, but when selecting the candidates, we do not focus on your study performance only – we want to select people who want to join us to develop and succeed!
