About the role

We are looking for a Planner and Scheduler HME to be a part of the team responsible for the design and implementation of maintenance strategies, processes and systems to enable effective and efficient performance of the Kevitsa mining operation. We are offering the role on a full-time contract. It is a great opportunity to demonstrate technical abilities across all mobile equipment management disciplines and to be a part of the team that will shape the performance of Suomen Rakennuskone Kevitsa mining operations. Reporting to the Reliability Engineer, you will be:

  • Supporting the Haul Truck Mechanics Team and Loaders Mechanics Team in the development and implementation of CMMS deliverables, such as Functional Locations, Work Plans, Bill of Materials and Maintenance Strategies
  • Producing NOVI maintenance work orders and scheduling maintenance work in line with Maintenance Strategies and Resourcing capabilities for our HME Fleet
  • Optimizing strategies to prevent operational and production delays and minimize lifecycle costs
  • Developing and maintaining work standards and guidelines
  • Developing detailed task lists complete with operations, materials attachment of standard work procedures
  • Identifying critical spares, including cataloguing and development of Bill of Materials
  • Liaising with relevant maintenance teams and OEM technical specialists

About you

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

  • Trade-related engineering certificate or diploma (mechanical or electrical)
  • A current and valid manual ’B’ class drivers license
  • Relevant experience in the planning role within the maintenance function
  • Good analytical skills and a high attention to details
  • High level knowledge in ERP systems, manage physical assets transactions
  • Advanced Microsoft Office programs skills
  • Experience in asset management strategy development and implementation
  • Ability to engage stakeholders across broad operating contexts to deliver project outcomes in constrained timeframes

It will also be beneficial if you have:

  • An understanding of reliability engineering processes including Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Life Cycle Cost Modelling (LCCM)
  • Experience in heavy mining equipment maintenance
  • Experience in creating and managing maintenance budgets
