Workshop: Research and tools for Sustainable Acceptable Mining – SAM 2014

Time: Tuesday 13th of May, 2014
Place: VTT, Tekniikantie 2, 02100 Espoo, Otaniemi  – The presentations will be in English.

Aim of workshop
SAM workshop is focused on the mining industry, its stakeholders and researchers. The target of the workshop is to provide knowledge and ideas about sustainability research and cooperation in Finland.  The International Speaker  comes from Fundacion Chile and will introduce the principles of the Mining Footprint. Furthermore the aim is to network and discuss which kind of sustainability indicators are needed and which are the most suitable for the mining industry in Finland.
